Carbon & Biodiversity
Carbon and biomass assessment for confident environmental decisions
Plan, measure and protect what matters most
Measure, monitor and validate carbon storage and vegetation growth using field expertise and high-resolution data.
The challenge
Trees and vegetation are widely recognised as effective carbon sinks, but only when they are healthy, growing, and managed appropriately.
For organisations responsible for land, forests, or urban vegetation, understanding how much carbon is being stored, and whether that storage is improving or declining, is not straightforward. Growth rates vary by species, site conditions, management practices, and disturbance history. Static estimates or coarse datasets often fail to reflect what is actually happening on the ground.
Without reliable biomass data, organisations face uncertainty when planning carbon initiatives, reporting outcomes, or justifying management decisions.
Our approach
ArborCarbon supports carbon and biomass assessment through a combined understanding of tree biology, field measurement, and remote sensing.
As tree and vegetation specialists, we work across the full lifecycle, from species selection and establishment through to long-term growth and maintenance. We assess tree condition, diagnose growth-limiting factors, and advise on interventions that support vigour and carbon accumulation.
To quantify outcomes, we use a combination of field-based measurements and high-resolution airborne and satellite data. This allows us to measure biomass change over time, rather than relying on assumptions or one-off snapshots.
Our approach is designed to provide clarity, not just numbers.
